The attack of the golf cart and the sprinkler

Ok so we all know that I am not the brightest crayon in the box, but two nights ago I proved it beyond a shadow of a doubt when I got lost walking Daisey the yellow lab I am watching for the week. We started our walk around 8:30pm I wanted to make sure that she was good and tired by the end so she would sleep and not bother me that night. So after about half hour of walking and taking random turns on random streets in the neighborhood I realized that I was completely lost and it was completely dark out. I started guessing my way back to the house I finally started to recognize some of the streets when a car (what I thought was a car) came speeding toward me without its lights on. I thought for sure I was going to be raped and murdered so I decided to hide behind a car that was parked on the side of the road. As the speeding car with no lights got closer I saw that it was actually a golf cart and as I realized that I was shot in the back with a sprinkler. Soaked and totally freaked out I finally made it home an hour and a half after we started on what was supposed to be a nice little walk. Daisey and I both drank a ton of water and collapsed in the living room I thought I might have killed her the way she was panting. I now pay better attention to where I am going and what street I am turning onto so that I can find my way home and last night we had a very successful and uneventful walk.

ONE YEAR!!!

For our one year anniversary Jesse got us a session with Cotton Photography! We had so much fun! These are just a few of the pictures! The bleachers that we are on are the ones that we used to go sit on and talk for hours before we really started dating and they are where Jesse first told me that he loved me. I thought that they were where he would purpose, but he said I would have guessed what he was doing if he had tried to purpose to me there. lol!

Absence makes the heart grow fonder

I never realized how much Jesse did for me until he left. Now I have to take out the trash, check the mail, get the oil changed in the car, fill the tires when the pressure gets low, get rid of dead birds that show up on our porch, kill spiders in the bathroom.....all these things he did for me and I took for granted. I appreciate him more now that he is gone than I did while he was here. I miss him so much!
