Cooper is in Isolation

Cooper started acting funny on Wednesday night. He was pacing around and dragging his back legs behind him. Then he threw up all of his dinner. He really had me freaked out so I called the emergency vet clinic to see what they thought. They told me that is sounded like a slipped disk in his spine and to crate him for the night and then take him to a vet in the morning. So that is what we did. Jesse took Cooper to the vet yesterday morning and they confirmed with x-ray that he does have a slipped disk. Luckily it is only minor so the treatment is anti-inflammatory drugs and being crated for two weeks.
I feel so bad for him, being stuck in his crate all day except for when he has to go the bathroom. And then after the two weeks we have to keep him from jumping on things or off of things and jumping in general. If that isn't an impossible task I don't know what is! Cooper is like a mexican jumping bean. I mean, we are talking about the dog that jumps on the coffee table and on the couch and even finds a way to get up on an ironing board! So needless to say Jesse and I have our work cut out for us!
